In 2014, I co-founded Tinker Watches, a direct to consumer watch brand that made a high level of customization possible through a unique watch-builder app.
The insight for Tinker sprung from the fact that the rise of smart phones diminished the utility of a wrist watch — heightening it’s role as an accessory. Thus, this company was designed to maximize accessorization by giving you complete control over the look of your watch.
